The entire village has been sealed since Saturday afternoon after the corona was confirmed in a 28-year-old man of Gulariya Municipality-11 Lalpur. A statement issued by the Ministry of Health on Saturday morning said that false information was spread that the woman was from Narkhu-11, Bardiya.
The infected men, who had been trading beef in Kalimati, had gone to Kathmandu by truck from Lalpur on May 11. District Health Chief Gokarna Giri said that he tested positive for corona in Kathmandu. According to the Health Office, he is undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
Giri said that the truck he was riding in belonged to Sahu of Dhangadhi and had gone to Kathmandu with his driver. A search is on for anyone who came in contact with him. There are 22 people in the family of the infected.
Chief District Officer Premlal Lamichhane said that no one from his village was banned from leaving his house on Saturday afternoon. The village is sealed for about half a km. So far, corona has been confirmed in two persons in Bardiya.
