The number of people infected with the corona virus in Nepal has reached 218. A test conducted at the Dhulikhel Laboratory in Dhulikhel on Wednesday showed corona infection in one person, said Dr. Sameer Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health. The infected person is a 36-year-old man from Nepalgunj Ward No. 8, according to the Ministry.

So far, 82 cases have been reported in Parsa, 32 in Udaipur, 29 in Kapilvastu, 24 in Banke, 16 in Rupandehi, 6 in Kathmandu, 4 in Kailali, 3/3 in Rautahat and Bara and 2/2 in Baglung, Chitwan, Jhapa, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Dhanusha and Bhaktapur. . Similarly, infection has been confirmed in Bhojpur, Saptari, Bardiya, Kanchanpur and Kavre.

Of those confirmed infected, 34 have recovered. However, after recovering from Covid-19 from Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, two persons tested positive for PCR and were re-admitted to the hospital for further tests.

Similarly, the PCR report of the 52-year-old man living in a Suncity apartment in Kathmandu has also been positive. He was discharged after treatment at Patan Hospital and has been re-admitted to the hospital.
