13 May, Kathmandu. The Health Foundation and Nidan Hospital in Pulchowk have been sealed.

A nurse working for the Health Foundation was diagnosed with corona virus (Covid-19) on Tuesday. The next day, the foundation in the same building was sealed along with the Nidan Hospital.

The woman, who tested positive for corona on Tuesday, came to Kathmandu from Tarai district and was taken to Shukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital for PCR test before returning to work at the institute. He was taken by the driver of the foundation and another employee to the hospital in Teku in the ambulance of the foundation.

Patients with kidney failure tend to undergo dialysis at the establishment. The institute is located in the premises of Nidan Hospital. The area has been sealed off as a precautionary measure as the driver and another employee returned to the establishment on a regular basis.

According to sources at the Metropolitan Police Complex, Lalitpur, a team from the National Public Health Laboratory is now taking swabs of various employees of the establishment and hospital who have come in contact with the driver and staff. A doctor informed that those who came in contact with the driver and used the ambulance were also requested to sit in self-isolation.
