Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection has been confirmed in 259 people in the last 24 hours. While testing 7,687 samples in laboratories across the country, the infection has been confirmed in 62 people in Kathmandu Valley alone.

At the same time, the total number of infected people has reached 21,009. Of them, 58 have died and 15,020 have recovered.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Kathmandu has the highest number of infected people at 48.

Similarly, 26 people from Sarlahi, 23 from Morang, 22 from Kailali, 15 from Mahottari, 13/13 from Bhaktapur and Dhanusha, 12 from Sunsari, 11 from Achham and Banke, 9 from Rupandehi, 8 from Jhapa, 7/7 from Saptari and Bara and 6 from Rautahat have contracted corona.

According to the Ministry of Health, five people from Gulmi, three from Salyan, two from Ilam, Siraha, Kapilvastu, and Kaski and one each from Lalitpur, Dhanusha, Bajhang, Parsa, Tanahu, Chitwan, Lamjung and Parbat have been confirmed to have corona infection.
