A 25-year-old man who was in quarantine in Narainapur village municipality of Banke has died at 4 am on Sunday. He had been living in the quarantine of Dipendra Prabhi at Mataiya-5 of the village municipality only on Saturday.

Naresh Shrestha, a public health focal person in Banke, said that it was not clear whether the death was due to corona virus. According to Prem Budha, in-charge of quarantine, the deceased was given Jeevan Jal after vomiting suddenly at night. The old man informed that his vomiting did not stop even after two hours of drinking water.

Four people in the quarantine of Dipendra Prabhi have already been confirmed to have corona infection. The old man said that 203 people in the quarantine, including health workers and security personnel were in panic as the young man died due to vomiting.

The deceased came from Maharashtra, India by walking. In-charge Budha informed that he had been walking at the border for a week. More than 500 people from India have been quarantined in Narainapur village municipality. Of these, eight have been diagnosed with corona virus from PCR tests.
